Co-op Conducts Local Food Drives

Fall River Electric is hosting a series of food drives to benefit several area food banks. The first drive was conducted in Ashton on November 30th which resulted in three pallets of non-perishable food collected for the North Fremont Food Pantry.

Additional food drives will be held on the following Fridays in December between the hours of Noon to 4 p.m.:

  • Broulim’s Fresh Foods in Rexburg, December 7 to benefit the Rexburg Food Bank under the direction of the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership
  • Food Round-Up AND Market Place in West Yellowstone, December 14 to benefit the West Yellowstone Social Services Center
  • Broulim’s Fresh Foods in Driggs, December 21 to benefit the Teton Valley Food Pantry

Owner-members of the Cooperative who do not live in our local area or who cannot attend one of the scheduled food drives may make a tax deductible monetary donation through “Helping Hands”, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Contact one of our friendly Member Service representatives by calling 800.632.5726 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain time. We also have donation boxes for non-perishable items at each of our offices in Ashton, Driggs and West Yellowstone.
