Although rainy weather dampened attendance at Fall River Electric Cooperative’s 80th anniversary Annual Meeting in Driggs on Saturday, June 16th, owner-members elected THREE members to the Co-op’s Board of Directors.
Dede Draper in District 6 & Brent Robson of District 5 were both re-elected to the board for another three year term each. Brent “Husk” Crowther defeated six other candidates in District 1 (Madison/Jefferson counties) for his first three year term. He is replacing Dan Skene who reached his term limits & was not eligible for re-election.
Members also APPROVED a proposed by-law change which will allow owner-members who permanently move from Fall River Electric’s service territory to elect to retire (cash out), at a discounted rate, their Patronage Capital. Members also approved the request to form a Board Compensation Committee to review board member compensation and make recommendations to the full board.
