Food Delivered to Area Food Banks

Fall River Electric’s “Stuff the Truck” annual food drive collected over 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food and more than $1,500 for four of our area’s food banks. The food drive was conducted between Thanksgiving and Christmas at grocery store locations in Ashton, Driggs, Rexburg and West Yellowstone. Owner-members of the Cooperative as well as members of the general public contributed.

The food was delivered after the holidays to the Rexburg Food Bank, North Fremont Food Pantry in Ashton, Teton Valley Food Pantry at Driggs and to the social services office in West Yellowstone MT. Most of the food banks commented on being appreciative to receive the food after the holidays as their supplies were dwindling due to the food supplied to families in need during the holidays.

Special thanks to Broulim’s Fresh Foods, Dave’s Jubilee, the Food Roundup and the Market Place for providing space to conduct the various individual food drives. Fall River Electric staff members coordinated each food drive.
